cool but......nope. IS300 with the mighty 2JZ yes. IS-F was an incredible car.... but it did not have that special aura of the late 90's early 2000's cars. Good candidate tho. I'm sure there are cars a little before and after that MY time frame but not many.

I saw one 10 minutes ago while dropping the wife off at work. Was sad to realize my weathered land rover has more grunt from her v8 than the Lexus. It was an actual ISF, body panels, brakes and fake exhausts

And you can't get it with a stick, though it does have one of the best auto-paddle-shifter-thingys on the market. I still remember than episode of best motoring where they pitted it against the Camaro. Wow, what a night and day difference in auto performance that was.

That V8 is a power house though man trust me. Induction sound is divine. All that means is that your LR is also a beast!!

100 milliseconds shifts. I remember it was the same as a Ferrari 599 or something like that. They brought a couple to the Kuhmo tire testing facility in San Antonio when I was a tech at Lexus for a "training even" when the IS-F's were coming out. Yeah it was basically a chance for everyone to have 10 minutes free with the car to thrash it. Good times and got paid to do so lol.
